Compiling OpenInventor on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther (Bug fix for reading SGI Imagelib)

Applying 'ivpatch' and extra patch to inventor-2.1.5-10.src.tar.gz for Mac OS 0.3 Panther

The patch for reading SGI Imagelib is completeley independent from 'ivpatch' by http://www.memention.com/ivscript. But you have to follow the instruction by 'ivpath' to compile it on MacOS X 10.3.

The following steps are the instructions from http://www.memention.com/ivscript with my SGI Imagelib fix patch.

install fink
install openmotif3, libjpeg, freetype2, freetype2-dev using fink
obtain OpenInventor source code (inventor-2.1.5-10.src.tar.gz) from SGI (http://oss.sgi.com/projects/inventor/, click Download and download from their FTP server)
expand inventor-2.1.5-10.src.tar.gz
apply ivpatch (patch -p 0 < ivpath)
apply ivlibimage_patch(patch -p 0 < ivlibimage_patch)
define DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
cd inventor and make
